Japanese-made Hon-kaya (Japanese nutmeg) 5-sun Go board (4 sun 9 bu 5 rin)
Omote (face) side, Itame (grain) pattern
《Origin》 Shikoku
This Go board is made from Hon-kaya from Kochi Prefecture, which has been naturally dried for over 10 years, processed, and has been aged for over 25 years.
It is a fabric-finished Omote (face) board.
Since it is unused, there are no playing marks.
Some parts of the grid lines and star points are slightly faded, but you can still use it without any problems.
There are no small cracks on the top surface.
There is a shallow dent in one place (image 20).
There are small cracks on both ends of the wood.
There is putty repair on both ends of the wood.
Both sides are clean.
There are small knots, putty repairs, and stains on the back.
There are images that appear white and images that appear yellow, but the actual color is somewhere in between.
The legs are Ichidan Kuri-ashi (one-step chestnut legs) (made of Hon-kaya from Kochi Prefecture, not chestnut) are attached.
The legs are in good condition and clean, but there are some minor scratches.
The board is tightly assembled without any gaps.
There is no wobbling on a flat surface.
